Our Location and Facilities

As well as an idyllic combination of lush woodland, meadows, rivers and hills, The Dog House is also tucked away out of sight, half a mile off a small country lane, in a wooded valley far away from busy roads and pollution (the nearest town is 8 miles away).

The farm is manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our facilities

Accomodation

Our guests sleep in specially insulated and heated rooms, with underfloor heating. They sleep on cosy Vetzyme bedding in ventilated Perla beds ensuring a good night’s sleep after a busy day. We will often team up dogs with their favourite room mate to keep them company. Dogs on training courses will also stay in our office and house throughout their stay to ensure that they are able to maintain their behaviours in a family environment.

Grooming room

All our guests benefit from being given a thorough groom on departure which includes teeth descaling, nail trimming and filing, ears and eyes cleaned, paw trim, anal expression, dematting if necessary and a bath and blow dry. We only use top quality all natural shampoos and conditioners to keep your dog’s coat in excellent condition. Our grooming room has the latest equipment and tools to ensure your dog’s experience of being groomed is a calm and enjoyable one.
